Sajida Hassan Abdul Hussien was awarded her PhD in ‘An Epidemiological Study of Mental Health Problems among 5 to 11 year old children in Karachi, Pakistan.
She is the research associate and Principal investigator for the Hussaini Foundation, a registered NGO in Karachi, Pakistan.
Her projects involve school based teachers training for mental health problems in children and she is responsible for preparing training package including: Manual development, handbook for teachers, evaluation tools, training of trainers, supervising the research data collection / data entry by team members. Research progress reports, conference presentations and journal paper publications.
Her PhD study has been published in international journal of mental health 2012 and can be found here. This study has also been nominated as one of the three best internationally presented based studies at the 2009 Young student Researcher Competition, held at the University of Leicester, UK.
