The World Federation India Office and Mumbai Jamaat organised a workshop for the “Parents of the Youth” in Mumbai. This workshop was a part of 3 of the 4 workshops organised to cover all age groups from teens to the elders on the Theme of Family Ethics.


Br. Abbas Merali of London and Sr. Fatima Somji of Dares Salaam facilitated the workshops. Maulana Hasnain Kararvi sahab shared his views and ideas from his vast experience.


Topics covered were How to keep a friendly and yet effective relationship with the youth, Guidance to create a closer bond with the spouse of the children, Relationship between the Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law, etc. The language of instructions was English and Gujarati.
The workshop was held on 2nd October at Khoja Shia Ithna Asheri Masjid Imambargah Hall at Dongri and was attended by 24 individuals including 8 couples. The format of the workshop was that it was a full day program starting at 11am and ending at 7pm with Namaz, Lunch and Refreshments breaks in between.
