2013The World Federation India Office held a Residential Youth Course for girls aged 10 to 15 years on 4th and 5th June 2013. The fees were subsidised by The World Federation to INR 750 (USD 14) per student which included lodging, boarding, travelling, meals and refreshments.
An Expression of Gratitude
In an expression of gratitude, the Khoja Shia Isna Ashari Jamaat Mumbai organised a felicitation program for Br. Shabbirhussein Khalfan on 18th June 2016 at Mehfil-e Mustafa, JuhuKapaswadi, Mumbai.
Br. Shabbir, who is part of The Capacity Building Group of The World Federation, was in Mumbai as part of the India Youth Camps organised by The World Federation and KSIJ Mumbai.
As the Head of Teacher’s Development of MCE in Africa, he was the perfect person to run the Mentor Development Program (MDP) that was held on 28th & 29th May. During this program, he trained the mentors who then went on to successfully handle the youth camps held from 30th May to 5th June 2016.
A shawl and a memento were presented to Br. Shabbir as a token of appreciation for his selfless efforts.
