The Academy for Learning Islam (A.L.I.) is pleased to announce the upcoming webinars for those proceeding to Hajj this year InshāAllāh.

The World Federation India Office held a fantastic camp for young girls. It was sorted out by the specialists in an efficient way at Khoja Sanatorium, Khandala. The campers included young girls from the age of 9 years to 15 years.
Six female mentors went with 30 young girls, wherein a group of five girls were under each mentor. Br. Asad Virani and Sr. Zainab Virani were in charge of the camp and ensured it worked easily all through the residency of three days.
A schedule of Islamic sessions and Social sessions was created for three days, taking into account offerings of Salah at precise times. A great mind-cracking quiz and games were arranged for the young girls. The mentors exclusively tended to the campers on different themes such as Ill-impacts of Music, Benefits of fasting in Mahe Ramadhan, Ahkaam, Taqleed, Literary Characteristics/Linguistic Miracles of the Holy Qur’an, Nobody understands Me (Dealing with Societal, Parental and Peer pressures) etc. Prayers were given utmost importance during the camp. The mentors took the follow up of the campers for Wudhu and Salah. Campers were appreciated individually for the best student of the group as well as in groups for the activities performed by them.
As a mentor, I had my first collaboration with the young ladies in the camp. Alongside them, I had the opportunity to develop myself in addition to being an aide to the girls. The experience of learning the information and teaching it to the girls was not only beneficial to them but also to my own development.
In general, it was an occasion that was all round composed and very well executed till the end. The campers were cheerful, the mentors and the organisers were experienced. I truly appreciate such important and moving camps for the young people of our community.
I am looking forward to the next camp.
Wa'Salaam,
Nusrat Fatema Munshi
