‘Therefore offer prayer for your Lord, and do the sacrifice.’ (Quran 108:2). ‘Qurbani’ is Arabic for ‘sacrifice’ of an animal (usually a cow, sheep or goat) in the way of Islam whose meat is then distributed among the deserving for consumption.

The Resident Alim and in charge of our Centre in Nepal has prepared insightful videos untitled 72 Shohada-e Karbala covering the biographies of the companions of Imam Husain (as) that common people have never even heard the names, like Junnadah ibn-e Ka’ab al-Ansari, Hujjaj ibn-e Zayd as-Sa’di, A’dham ibn-e Umaya al-Abdi, Aamir ibn-e Muslim al-Bassri, Jabir ibn-e Urwah, etc. So far, 40 of these videos are uploaded on our Centre's YouTube channel, receiving more than 700 collective views and can be accessed here.
Maulana also continued with his online Majalis programs during the month of Safar and conducted an interview with some local Nepali Hindus regarding what they know about Karbala and Imam Husain (as). Alhamdulillah many non-Muslims have subscribed to his channel and regularly follow these videos and get satisfactory answers to their queries from him.
