Hajj Workshop

On 21^st July 2019, we were fortunate enough to run our second year of the Hajj workshop, held in the newly built venue – The Training Centre, Mumbai. Organised as a collaboration between The World Federation India Office, India Federation, Mumbai Jamaat and Servants of Imam Ali(as) Group – we had an amazing turnout of 35 participants.

The workshop was centred around preparing individuals for their journey. This included helping then understand the basics of their spiritual trip but also focusing on the steps and physical actions need to be completed during Hajj. One of the practically explained elements was on how to properly wear an Ehram for both ladies and gents.

The session was arranged in a two-way communication format to encourage the participants to engage in the session. This was one of the most important objectives of the workshop in order to ensure the participants was able to maximise what they learnt but also felt free to clarify any doubts they had about Hajj and Umrah.

It was conducted by Sayyed Zaki Noori Sahab and ran for roughly 4 and half hours. Alhamdulillah, the session was successful and we hope to continue this in the future with more opportunities for people to get involved in these.
