2,500,000 Muslims were invited to break their fast in the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (AS)

Mahmud Mumtaz the Deputy of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi said "Besides the acceptance of pilgrims at the Guest House (Mehmansara) of Imam Reza (A.S.), we were honored to welcome 2.5 million of dear fasters (Samiun) in the blessed month of Ramadan, and the reception of large number of fasters was completed in 8 minutes."

In the holy month of Ramadhan, Razavi Sacred Premises welcomed more than 12,000 people at the Hidayat courtyard. Blessing Packages were given to the pilgirms at the congregational prayer queues of Razavi Holy Shrine in the time of Iftar during 5 minutes; so that they could take advantage of the blessing of congregational prayer and Iftar in the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) simultaneously.

The preparations of these great and blessed Iftars began two months ago. The first activity of the department of Razavi Sacred Premises in this regard was reviewing of the executed plans in the past years according to the surveys which indicated the strengths and weaknesses and helped the officials to prepare better plans for this year.

 
Some other significant activities at the holy Shrine of Imam Reza (a.s.) were the acceptance of Pilgrims at the Guesthouse of Imam Reza (a.s.), daily preparation of 50 groups for distributing the invitation forms of Razavi Ikram (generosity) plan and playing kettledrum (Naqqareh) during the year except on the martyrdom anniversary of Masumeen (a.s.) 20 minutes before the sunset and sunrise.

The Assistant Secretary General of Islamic Education of The World Federation, Sayyid Aliraza Naqvi visited the Polish city of Lublin from 23-25 May 2013.  The trip was facilitated by the Al Mahdi Institute of Birmingham.  During his visit, he met with the local Shi’a community and delivered a lecture during the celebration of the Wiladat of Imam Ali (as).  

He also met representatives of the Polish Shi’a organisation, the Muslim Unity Society and discussed their activities and future plans.
