The North American Shia Ithna'ashari Community Organization also known as NASIMCO is delighted to be amongst the few umbrella organizations who have understood the importance of the community's core - the women. This Mahe Ramadhan, NASIMCO provided the platform to women such as Zakira Shyrose Dhalla, Zakira Mahjabeen Dhala and Sister Berak Hussain who conducted and led the Live Events on a weekly basis. Madrasah Leadership Teams Workshop (MLT) - COEJ
CoEJ SAN held its 4th Annual Madrasah Leadership Teams Workshop.
This was held in Al Zahra Centre, Watford. The workshop provided a platform to liaise, network and share information with each other and proactively plan for the future. This session had 25 representatives in Leadership positions from across the Madaris in Europe and was delivered by six facilitators.
The workshop involved sharing of best practices and discussing the opportunities and challenges the Madaris are facing in Europe today. Representatives shared their views from their teaching experience outside of Madrasah and discussed how they could apply it to Madaris. The MLT workshop provided an opportunity for Madaris Leaders to present any innovative products or resources their madrasah has developed and implemented successfully.

The Shia Youth Development Project (SYDP) is a vocational programme managed by the Bilal Muslim Mission (Moshi branch). Recently, Sadi Joza, one of its African Shia Muslim students, passed and graduated as an Assistant Pharmacist at KCMC Hospital and has secured employment at the Ithna Asheri Hospital in Dar es Salaam. May the Almighty grant Br. Sadi continued success in the years to come.
