There is no du'a that resonates with the spirit of Ramadan like the first short du'a we begin everyday amaals with. 

The recitation of the words 'Ya Aliyyu, Ya Azimu…’ envelops a sense of peace and connection with our Lord.  This du'a seems to encapsulate all our desires and hopes from the Holy Month of fasting and offers us with the tools to recognize and understand our relationship with our Creator.

During this Holy month of Ramadan, The World Federation is extremely pleased to announce the launch of our new publication “Seeking Elevation” - a verse-by-verse commentary of this Du'a by Shaykh Muhammad Khalfan.  The book not only analyses the deeper philosophical meanings of the names by which we call on Allah (SWT), but also explains the attitude and perspective that should prevail within us when supplicating. This book is not just about the meaning of this particular du'a, but about the finer nuances of supplication as a means of reaching out to God.

This book, along with two other fantastic books relating to Ramadan supplications by Shaykh Muhammad Khalfan - Manifestations of the All Merciful and The Divine Invitation - are available in both hardcopy and e-book format.  Together they will enrich any one's experience of this month and inshAllah open the doors to higher levels of enlightenment and spiritual progress.
