Book Launch: The Untold Reality of Karbala

Many have pondered on the human spirit, its purpose in this life and this world, its origin and its ultimate destination. People across the ages have devoted their entire lives to finding answers about the purpose of life, its origin and ultimate destination.

The purpose of life cannot be deduced by mathematical equations; rather, its discovery requires a deep understanding of universal truths. These truths were embodied and actualised by the unique spirit and experience of Imam Husayn (A), whose mission was to awaken human beings to the divine potential within themselves.

Each year, we recount the historical narrations of the events of Ashura with sorrow and grief, but we often forget to ask ourselves a fundamental question: do these events merely comprise a tragedy that evokes grief and tears, or is there a deeper and more profound aspect of Imam Husayn (A)’s mission that has yet to resonate from the pulpits?

If we were to probe the mission of Imam Husayn (A), we would realise that it serves as a manual for our journey towards becoming true followers and supporters of Imam al-Mahdi (AJ). One of the ways of getting closer to the Imam of our time lies in understanding the deeper realities of his mission. To become the companions of Imam al-Mahdi (AJ), we need to be like the companions of Imam Husayn (A).

The Karbala of Imam Husayn (A) is a timeless beacon of guidance that awakens humanity to the value and beauty of freedom, justice, truth and spiritual consciousness.  This book, The Untold Reality of Karbala, serves as a key to unlocking the long-forgotten treasures divinely gifted to humanity through the greatest sacrifice the universe has ever witnessed.

The book is available at the WF online bookshop at a special introductory price of £5.00 for limited time only!
