The trip to Iran was a unique experience of its own, a journey unlike any other. It was a journey that left me in awe as I visited Bibi Masuma (AS), prayed under the stars in Jamkaran, sat by the wall of Imam Ar-Redha (AS), and slept in the Jamia, the House of Bibi Masuma (AS).

If we were to probe the mission of Imam Husayn (A), we would realise that it serves as a manual for our journey towards becoming true followers and supporters of Imam al-Mahdi (AJ). One of the ways of getting closer to the Imam of our time lies in understanding the deeper realities of his mission. To become the companions of Imam al-Mahdi (AJ), we need to be like the companions of Imam Husayn (A).

A two-day day workshop was organised by The World Federation India Office and KSI Jamaat of Mumbai on 5 and 6 October 2013. This workshop was the fourth and last workshop organised on the theme of Family Ethics.
