Ramadhan Relief 1435: Distribution of 1,440 food baskets in progress – Mumbai, India

The World Federation’s Ramadhan Relief Program is in full swing in Mumbai, India where 1,440 food baskets containing basic grocery items are being delivered to sadaat and non-sadaat households for the month of Ramadhan.

Each food basket has been individually packed and contains items such as wheat flour, rice, sugar, lentils, tea and cooking oil. In addition to fasting in the summer heat, volunteers are hard at work making sure that families are taken care of this Ramadhan.

Food and other aid distribution are underway across parts of Africa, Inda, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Haiti, Gaza, Middle East and Europe. The cost of one food basket is £30 GBP / $45 USD-CAD which will feed an average family of four for one month. Please donate generously to the Ramadhan Relief Fund 1435. As we enter the month of Ramadhan, your contribution will help support hundreds of thousands of families in their time of need.

The World Federation of KSIMC hosted an event entitled the Human Rights Violations in Iraq in partnership with Al Ayn Social Care Foundation. A practical solution, is what The World Federation of KSIMC offered at the Human Rights Council side panel on the current crisis in Iraq.


In November 2013, when Typhoon Haiyan devastated the Philippines, The World Federation launched a humanitarian appeal to raise funds to assist in the relief and recovery efforts. Donors from around the world responded and The World Federation raised $15,000 USD and The World Federation has partnered with the UNDP.


Thanks to the support of donors who continue to donate to the Pakistan Relief Fund, The World Federation funded the construction of 14 new homes across 13 villages in Tehsil Ahmedpur Sial in Pakistan’s Punjab province.
