Habib University in Karachi, Pakistan is a liberal arts & sciences university, offering interdisciplinary education in science, engineering, arts, humanities and social sciences.  Committed to providing the highest standards of excellence in higher education and envisioned to be an intellectual nexus for the region, the University will develop the next generation of scholars who will positively impact society.

The University is being constructed in two phases. In the first phase, an urban commuter campus spread over 7 acres of land and in the second phase, the University will expand to a larger residential campus on the outskirts of Karachi.

Dr. Asgharali Moledina, President of The World Federation  accompanied by Altaf Kikariyawalla,  President of the Pakistan Federation, Hassan Abdulhusein (Abullo), Vice President of the Pakistan Federation, Anver Rajpar, WF Executive Councillor, Huseinbhai Alibhai, Gulamabbass Badamai, Altaf Bhojani together with other dignitaries visited the University. They were hosted by the Chancellor, Rafiq M. Habib and the President Wasif Rizvi who welcomed them and gave them a tour of the campus and its facilities which are now operational. The entire delegation was treated to a splendid lunch prepared by the University kitchen.

The University has been established by the Habib University Foundation with the support of the well-known House of Habib. Dr. Moledina was impressed by the design of the university and the content and quality of the courses offered. This University is a great achievement for the Khoja community. He pledged the services of The World Federation to help and assist in promoting the University to the worldwide community.
