As we all aware that India is one of the hardest-hit countries in terms of the pandemic especially when you take into account those who depend on their daily earnings to put food on the table. The ability to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to look after the volunteers and the recipients are equally as important. President visits Iraq & His Eminence Syed al Sistani DZ
In the first week of December the President of The World Federation, Al Hajj Safder Jaffer, along with the Head of the Islamic Education Department, Shaykh Dr Murtadha Alidina, visited Iraq. Besides the Ziyarat of the Aimma (A) at the Holy shrines of Najaf, Karbala, Samarrah and Kadhamayn, there was an extensive meeting with His Eminence al-Sayyid al Sistani (dz) and other prominent Marajae’, Ulemaa and sites.
Alhamdulillah, the trip was very fruitful with many blessings for our future community work. A more detailed report from the Islamic Education Department and Secretariat to follow soon.
