The Muslim Conventions provides you with an opportunity to meet and network with Shia Muslims from all over the UK at an exciting annual flagship event. The Muslim Convention will be held at Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill St, Manchester M2 3GX. 

The Muslim Convention is a platform to engage in and discuss topics relating to the religion of Islam in various subjects, including but not restricted to religion, economics, ethics and social issues.

The theme for this year is “Islam & Modernity: Does my Religion Need Reform?” The main sessions will aim to provide clarity on this question. Alongside this, the seminars and workshops will give you the opportunity to explore specific topics under this theme or learn new skills.

The Muslim Convention 2019 will involve a wide range of sessions and features for the whole family to enjoy. It will consist of main sessions with world renowned speakers, kids programmes (Creche: for ages under 4 and Kids programme: for ages 5-10, teenage workshops (ages 11-16), a marketplace full of exhibitions, food, Milad al-Nabi celebration and much more!

Food will be provided! A buffet lunch, with a delicious menu lined up, will be served 13:30 – 14:30.
