Earlier this month, Masuma Moledina joined The World Federation team as our new communications and marketing intern. Born and raised in London, Masuma has a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Management from the London College of Fashion.
Masuma has been active in community service through volunteering at her local Jamaat for a number of years and this is her first role with The World Federation. Her responsibilities include managing the day to day running of our social media pages, writing articles for the website and newswires, and assisting to devise and implement a new marketing and communications strategy for the organisation as a whole.
Masuma will work closely with Anisa Kanji, the Assistant Secretary General. Anisa has overall responsibility for the communications and marketing activities of The World Federation.
Anisa said: "I am delighted to welcome Masuma in her new role. Having worked closely with her for only a week, I know that she will make a significant contribution to our organisation. She has some fantastic ideas on how we can innovatively communication the work that The World Federation is doing to our worldwide community. InshAllah with Masuma’s support, I am confident we will take great strides in this area over the current term."
