Amira Apartments

Now under construction!

For The World Federation, providing suitable and affordable housing for our community members is absolutely paramount to our organisation. One of our major priorities in 2018 is being able to work closely to identify and be part of a working solution for our core community issues, in which we refer to as an 'inward investment'.  We take this opportunity to help our community profoundly and would like to offer our assistance and support where it's needed most which will ultimately be able to sustain and grow our community internally.

We are excited to announce the initiation ground-breaking ceremony of 40 flats, Amira Apartments at Upanga, Dar-es-Salaam was held on Monday night 28th May 2018. This is a joint housing project of the Africa Federation (AFED) and the World Federation (WF) in collaboration with the KSI Jamaat of Dar Es Salaam.

The plot measuring 800 Sq. M is located in a prime residential area along Mfaume Road in Upanga area of Dar Es Salaam which has been donated to AFED by The World Federation, through the good efforts of Alhaj Ahmed Daya, The World Federation Executive Councillor in London, U.K. for the housing development project for our community members.

The President of Dar Es Salaam Jamaat expressed his delight on the plan to develop more houses at a reasonable cost for the members of the community, as the need for accommodation is growing as families are expanding. Dar Es Salaam city being the commercial hub of Tanzania, housing needs will always be there, he thanked Africa Federation and the World Federation and Ahmedbhai Daya for taking these initiatives. He also mentioned on the Uhuru Street housing development project which is being undertaken jointly by the Africa Federation, The World Federation and KSI Jamaat of Dar Es Salaam, this will consist of 40 flats and a commercial space on the ground floor.
