When the Covid-19 crisis came about, The World Federation reacted swiftly to meander itself into a position to address the challenges. There was a tremendous amount of work undertaken during its formation from mid-March to the end of May. The Husseini Islamic Center in conjunction with NASIMCO is organizing a workshop called “Constructing a Health Family” on Sunday 19 April 2009. The workshop will run from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The event is organized by MAMA Group under the auspices of Husseini Islamic Center.
The workshop will be presented by Sr. Marzia Hassan, a law student and professional speaker whose qualifications include a Masters in Social Work (University of Toronto), and a certificate in couple and family therapy studies (University of Guelph). The workshop is a certified course offering a Continuous Personal Development (CPD) Certificate by NASIMCO.
