'Bookend Revolutions, In Islamic History’ – Video Message from the Author!
Last week, The World Federation was pleased to launch a new publication, entitled ‘ Bookend Revolutions, In Islamic History’ by Dr Bashir Ahmed Datoo .

In this book, Dr Datoo revisits the revolution that took place at the time of the Holy Prophet (saw) and closes with the revolution that will occur under the leadership of the Imam Mahdi (ajfs). These two revolutions form, as it were, the ‘bookends’ of Islamic history. After the return of Imam Mahdi (ajfs) the final phase of the revolution will transpire which will reiterate the original message taught by the Holy Prophet (saw) of justice and peace.
This week, we look at a short video message from Dr Datoo on his new book. In this short clip, he talks about the thinking behind the title, the conceptual framework applied in the analytical discussions and the five broad categories that are considered with these historic events.
