Worldwide Tableegh -
The World Federation has a proud tradition of furthering the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (AS) throughout the world.
The work undertaken by Islamic Education Department in this regard focuses upon building links with existing
local organisations and providing them with the resources required to spread the message of true Islam.

1. Bosnia
We have been supporting Tableegh efforts in Bosnia for over a
decade. Through our support, Bosnian Shia’s have flourished and
have established a number of excellent structures and practices:
Going forward, we will, continue to support the community in Bosnia
with projects that have long term sustainability, to make the Bosnian
community self-sufficient and autonomous.
2. India
In July 2010, Islamic Education provided JPC with 800 titles, for these
to reach the grassroots of India effectively. By September 2010, 500
books had already been sent to cities all over India and even to the
Middle East.
Sayyid Aliraza Naqvi commented, ‘This was the vital first step in
creating more awareness of Islam in India which has a huge and
thriving readership. JPC is now fully equipped with the resources
to ensure that these publications reach the public in India at prices
which are affordable to locals. I thank them for partnering us in this
endeavour.’
3. East Africa
A. In December 2010- 2012, The World Federation and Africa Federation
sponsored a short course for the Muballigheen of Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya.
The course was conducted by Shaykh Ayub Rashid in Mombasa and is now
held annually.
The seminar ran for 10 days and was conducted in Swahili, the mother tongue
of the Muballigheen. The course covered a number of key topics including:
1. Islamic Laws pertaining to Taharat and Salaat
2. Issues of Marriage and Divorce
3. Personal Development of a Muballigh
4. Aqa’id (Ideology)
5. The Qur’an, its recitation, and its translation / commentary
The participants were Muballigheen and Imams from across different centres and organisations. A total of 21 Imams of masjids and Islamic teachers
(Muallims) attended the workshop. The workshop gave them essential skills and knowledge to equip them to deliver Tableegh in their localities.
4. Kosovo
NISA is an Islamic organisation supported by The World Federation to spread the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (a) in Kosovo. NISA is headed by Sister Ikballe Huduti who works alongside her husband and a small team and regularly update us of the work the organisation is involved. A magazine titled VLERA is published quarterly by NISA covering a range of topics which is distributed to thousands of people. This is one of many projects NISA is involved in. The Quran states ‘Those who give to charity night and day, secretly and publicly, receive their recompense from their Lord; they will have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve’ [2:274]. If you would like to support NISA and similar organisations in spreading the true message of Islam and creating a source of Sadaqa Jariyah (ongoing charity) in your name, you can do so by donating generously above.
